It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of sharp weapons – the better to kill zombies with. This mash-up combines Jane Austen's novel with face-eating zombies, and the story comes roaring to life on screen. In this incarnation of Pride and Prejudice, Elizabeth Bennet (Lily James) is not just an opinionated, gown-wearing ingenue. She is also trained in the use of martial arts and weaponry. Elizabeth must join forces with the troublesome Mr. Darcy (Sam Riley) to survive the zombie plague. They'll use their fighting skills to lop off as many zombie heads as they can in order to save the countryside. Based on the cult parody novel by Seth Grahame-Smith.
