Blu-ray – Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's "The Little Mermaid," Ponyo is a tale of remarkable friendship on land and under the sea. A boy named Sosuke finds a bottle drifting to shore with a goldfish inside it. Naming the fish "Ponyo," both fish and human form a tight bond only to have it threatened by Ponyo's father – the powerful underwater sorcerer, Fujimoto. Forced to return home by her father, Ponyo escapes and takes on a human form. Inadvertently triggering a tsunami with her magical powers, Ponyo returns to Sosuke as his town is endangered by the great storm. Both boy and fish must figure out how to restore the balance of nature as they discover the true meaning of friendship.
